With the addition of MBI, you can cover your new or used car - inside and out. This coverage offers several terms and options to meet your specific needs and can even be purchased after you buy your car. All you pay is a small deductible for a covered repair. The rest is taken care of by us. MBI helps you in several ways:

The benefits of your MBI option

Coverage pays for parts and labor to repair or replace major component parts. We also cover wear-and-tear failures of covered parts.

A higher resale value - MBI may be assigned to the next owner of your vehicle giving you a higher resale price.

Low deductibles - You pay only a small deductible per covered repair visit we pay the rest.

Easy budgeting - A 24-month payment plan option is available.
 
Wide acceptance - Your MBI policy may be used at any facility across the United States and Canada.

Rental reimbursement -  If you need a rental vehicle due to covered repair work, Farmers may reimburse you up to $25 per day for a maximum of six days.
 
Trip interruption coverage - We will take care of you and your family if your vehicle breaks down more than 100 miles from home. We offer reimbursement for food and lodging up to $100 per day for three days per repair visit.

Choose a plan to fit your needs

MBI allows you to select the plan that will work best for your vehicle and your pocketbooks. Choose from three different plans:

The Powertrain plan - This plan provides coverage for components and parts in the engine, transmission and drive axle.

The Preferred plan - The Preferred Plan adds coverage for Steering system, heating and air conditioning, brake system, electrical system and interior and exterior parts.

The Comprehensive plan - The Comprehensive plan is an all risk mechanical breakdown plan that covers virtually all mechanical components and parts on the vehicle.
